FOSTER INFORMATION

Fostering is Easy and Will Grow Your Heart Two Sizes!

"Board Members Needed: I started with SDRO by fostering dogs (and, like many of our members, joined the ranks of “failed fosters” when I ended up adopting!) As I became more involved, I moved on to other crucial tasks such as writing pet profiles, answering emails, and helping out at events. But it wasn’t until I joined the board that I really got an understanding of what it takes to keep a non-profit like SDRO going. This “behind-the-scenes” work is crucial to SDRO and enables us to carry out our mission of rescuing and re-homing senior dogs. We would love to have you join us!" - Janice Rosenberg, SDRO President

Dogs coming into rescue need safe, secure homes with kind and loving people.

YOU provide: love, patience and kindness.

SDRO provides: food, supplies, vet expenses, an experienced foster home coordinator to help you.

We can't do this work without foster homes!
